Delete your account & data
You can ask us to permanently delete your SoldForWhat account and the personal data linked to it, at any time. Here's how.
Delete it yourself, right now
Log in and delete your account instantly — in the app or on the web. Nothing to wait for.
🗑️ Go to Profile › Delete account Can't log in? Email hello@soldforwhat.com.auHow it works
- Open Profile (in the app, or at soldforwhat.com.au/profile) and log in if you aren't already.
- Scroll to the account panel and tap Delete permanently.
- Type DELETE to confirm. Your account and personal data are erased immediately and you're signed out.
If you can't sign in, email hello@soldforwhat.com.au from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify it's you and action it within 30 days, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login (email address, display name)
- Your saved game stats, streaks and play history
- Any lead enquiries you submitted to an agent
What we may keep
- Anonymised / aggregate statistics that no longer identify you (e.g. total daily players) — these are not personal information once genuinely aggregated.
- Records we're legally required to retain (for example under tax or financial law), kept only for as long as the law requires and then deleted.
